Christine Cherry offers a range of pottery workshops from one-off wheel and hand-building sessions to a series of workshops on the pottery wheel.
1.5hr Wheel-throwing Taster
During this session I will teach you the fundamentals of manipulating clay on a wheel. By the end of the two hours you will have produced your very own creation that will be taken away to be glazed (all included in the price). Your work can be collected at a later date.
4 x 1.5hr Weel-throwing Course
This course is perfect for beginners and those who have enjoyed the taster class and are interested in developing confidence in their pottery skills or for those who are looking for an engaging activity for a few weeks. By the end of the course you will have created several pots which will be fired for you and can be collected at a later date.

2 hr Hand-building Taster
During this taster session you will utilise the traditional techniques of hand-building like pinch pots, coiling and slabbing, to create individual pieces. This session is ideal for beginners. By the end of this session you will have your very own creation which will be taken away to be fired and glazed for you. Your work can be collected at a later date.

Wheel-throwing courses are for people aged 16+ Please wear clothes that you are happy to get dirty. Remove any jewelry and tie back long hair if throwing on the wheel.
