Well I've done it, my very first craft fair was last weekend. I have to say as well, that I really enjoyed myself.

The general public that visited and other sellers really seemed to love my work. It got a lot of interest and I made a few sales.  

It was good in that I now know what to expect, and also know the type of fair that I think I need to sign up to.  

It was hard work though, carrying all of the stock inside, especially as it was lashing it down! A point to note: learn to be patient as the rain stopped as soon as I had finished carrying my stuff indoors. I think if I get any offers of help the...

Here it is...my very first blog. I'm a blogging virgin and at the moment all I can think about is...I hope I'm not too boring!

...so let's do this.

It's the start of a new year and the beginning of the rest of my life. In fact, it really does feel like I have a life now. After almost 25 years of teaching, and I will add that they were mainly wonderful years, I am for now, an ex-teacher. I have a new career...as a ceramic artist. 

As of today's date, I've sold a couple of pieces of work!  to say the very least I'm delighted by this!  Early in the new year I also donated one of my first pieces,...
